1. Principles
Dialogis exists to let real experts and businesses make their own knowledge available through an AI Mind that is honest about being an AI. Three principles run through this policy:
- A Mind is always disclosed as AI and never impersonates a person who has not authorised it.
- You may only use knowledge and personal data you are entitled to use.
- Minds inform and assist; they do not decide people's fates. Uses that could harm people's rights, safety or livelihoods need human control and, in some cases, our prior written agreement.
If you are unsure whether a use is allowed, ask us at hello@dialogis.io before you build it.
2. Prohibited content
You must not upload to the platform, or configure a Mind to produce or distribute, content that:
- is illegal in the Czech Republic, in the EU, or in the country where the Mind is offered;
- infringes copyright, database rights, trademarks, trade secrets, personality rights or privacy;
- is defamatory, threatening, harassing, hateful, or incites violence or discrimination against any person or group;
- sexualises children or depicts child sexual abuse in any form (we report such content to the authorities);
- is pornographic or sexually explicit, unless we have agreed in writing to a lawful, age-gated deployment;
- promotes self-harm, eating disorders, suicide, or the abuse of drugs;
- provides instructions for weapons, explosives, dangerous chemicals or biological agents, or for attacks on computer systems;
- promotes fraud, pyramid or multi-level marketing schemes, illegal gambling, or "get rich quick" schemes;
- contains malware, or credentials, keys or payment card data;
- is deliberately false and likely to cause harm (disinformation), including false health, financial or electoral information.
3. Prohibited practices under the EU AI Act
The following uses are prohibited by Article 5 of Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 and are never permitted on the platform:
- deploying subliminal, manipulative or deceptive techniques that materially distort a person's behaviour in a way that causes or is likely to cause significant harm;
- exploiting the vulnerabilities of a person or group due to age, disability or social or economic situation to distort their behaviour in a harmful way;
- social scoring: evaluating or classifying people based on social behaviour or personal characteristics in a way that leads to detrimental or disproportionate treatment;
- predicting the risk of a person committing a criminal offence based solely on profiling or personality traits;
- building or expanding facial-recognition databases through untargeted scraping of facial images from the internet or CCTV;
- inferring emotions of people in workplaces or educational institutions (except for medical or safety reasons);
- biometric categorisation to deduce race, political opinions, trade-union membership, religious or philosophical beliefs, sex life or sexual orientation;
- real-time remote biometric identification in publicly accessible spaces for law enforcement.
4. High-risk and regulated uses
4.1 Uses that need our prior written agreement. Do not deploy a Mind in any of the following contexts unless we have agreed to it in writing and you have implemented the deployer obligations that apply to you under the AI Act (human oversight, input-data control, monitoring, logging, staff training, informing affected persons, and, where required, a fundamental-rights impact assessment) and a data-protection impact assessment under the GDPR:
- decisions about access to, or eligibility for, credit, insurance, housing, education, employment, promotion, termination, or public benefits and services;
- recruitment, screening or evaluation of job candidates or workers;
- assessment of students or admission to educational institutions;
- medical diagnosis, triage, treatment recommendations or emergency dispatch;
- law enforcement, migration, asylum or border control;
- administration of justice or democratic processes;
- critical infrastructure (energy, water, transport, digital infrastructure) safety functions;
- any other use listed in Annex III of the AI Act.
4.2 Regulated advice. A Mind may share the knowledge of a licensed professional (for example a lawyer, doctor, financial adviser, therapist or accountant) for general information, provided that it makes clear that it is not giving individual professional advice, that it directs people to a qualified professional for their situation, and that you comply with the professional and consumer rules that apply to you (including rules on advertising, client onboarding, and confidentiality). A Mind must never present itself as licensed to practise.
4.3 No decisions about people. Whatever the field, a Mind must not be used to make, or materially influence, a decision that produces legal or similarly significant effects on a person without meaningful human review.
5. Personas, likeness and voice
- You may build a Mind only of yourself, your organisation, a person in your organisation who has consented, or another person who has given prior written authorisation, as described in Section 6 of the Terms of Use.
- You must not build a Mind of a public figure, a competitor, a celebrity, a politician or any other person without their written authorisation, even for parody or commentary.
- Voice Clones require the signed, informed consent of the voice owner, may not be used to say things the owner has forbidden, and must be deleted when the owner withdraws consent.
- You must not use stock or cloned voices to imitate a specific real person other than the consenting owner.
- You must not configure a Mind to claim to be a human, to deny being an AI when asked, to claim the expert is personally present, or to hide, remove or contradict the platform's AI disclosures.
- You must not use a Mind to create content that falsely appears to be an authentic recording, statement or action of a real person ("deepfakes") without disclosure and authorisation.
6. Knowledge Sources and data
- Upload only material you own or are licensed to use. Do not upload books, courses, articles or recordings of other people without permission.
- Import from websites or social networks only your own content, content you are licensed to use, or content that is public and lawfully accessible, and respect the terms of the source platform. Do not use the platform to scrape third-party sites at scale.
- Do not upload personal data of other people beyond what is necessary, and never special categories of data, criminal-offence data or children's data without a lawful basis, appropriate safeguards and prior notice to us.
- Do not upload confidential information of third parties, credentials, API keys or payment card data.
- Do not attempt to access, extract or infer the Knowledge Sources, prompts or conversations of other customers.
7. Messaging, marketing and End Users
- Send proactive or outbound messages on Telegram, WhatsApp or Instagram only to people who have opted in, and only within the rules of the channel (including the WhatsApp Business Messaging Policy and Meta's Platform Terms). No spam, bulk unsolicited messaging, or purchased contact lists.
- Ask End Users for contact details only with a clear explanation of the purpose; obtain consent where the law requires it; honour opt-outs immediately.
- Do not target children under 16 (15 in the Czech Republic) without telling us and implementing the protections the law requires.
- Do not use a Mind to collect passwords, payment card numbers, identity documents or health data from End Users unless we have agreed in writing to a lawful deployment.
- Provide End Users a way to reach a human and handle their complaints and requests promptly.
8. Platform integrity and security
You must not:
- probe, scan or test the vulnerability of the platform, or breach or circumvent any security or authentication measure, other than through a coordinated disclosure agreed with us in advance;
- access data or workspaces that are not yours, or attempt to do so;
- interfere with the platform, overload it, or use it to attack other systems;
- circumvent plan limits, rate limits, billing or usage measurement;
- share, sell or transfer access credentials or API keys, or use another customer's credentials;
- reverse engineer, decompile or copy the platform, or use it to build a competing product or to train a competing model;
- resell the platform or provide it as a service to third parties, except by making your Minds available to your End Users;
- use automated means to create accounts or to generate conversations for the purpose of inflating usage, analytics or ratings.
9. Reporting and enforcement
- Report abuse or illegal content to hello@dialogis.io. Use the subject "Illegal content notice" for content you believe is illegal; Section 19 of the Terms of Use describes how we handle notices. Report security vulnerabilities to the same address with the subject "Security".
- We may investigate suspected violations and, depending on severity, warn you, require changes, remove content, unpublish or suspend a Mind or a Channel, suspend or terminate your workspace, and notify authorities where the law requires it. We will explain our decision and how to challenge it, unless the law prevents us.
- Repeated or serious violations, and any use prohibited by Section 3, result in immediate termination.
- We may update this policy as described in Section 20 of the Terms of Use.
